This is one book that I would highly recommend everyone read. The premise is still so relevant and relatable. This is my first read by Toni Morrison and I am hooked! I’m definitely planning on going through it a second time, since there is so much depth to it. 10/10

Well, after powering through a few of my nursing courses, I finally have a bit of a break coming up here(so long as baby girl doesn’t make an early entrance), so I am breaking open ‘Americanah’. I’ve had this one on my reading list for quite some time, so I’m very excited to dive in! I’ll be sure to let you all know how it is!

I recently finished reading ‘Where the Crawdad Sings’ and although I was tremendously late to the hype, I am so glad I finally took the time to give it a read. It was absolutely incredible and a great coming-of-age story. What did you think of it? Do you have any similar type of books you’d recommend to read next?
